Singer completes raising of £6m for City of London Group PLC through placing of over 7m shares

Announces the completion of a Firm Placing and Open Offer raising approximately £6m through the issue of 7,233,015 new ordinary shares at 83 pence per share.  

Singer acted as Financial Advisor, Sponsor and Corporate Broker to City of London Group.

City of London Group is a Closed-Ended Investment Fund centred around specialist financing (within the SME and professional services sector) and alternative fund management.   

Activities lie within:

1. Operating investments in subsidiary groups:

- Legal/ Professional Finance: Therium, St Helens Finance and City of London Law Funding;

- Secured SME Finance: Trade Finance Partners and Credit Asset Management.

2. A legacy investment portfolio predominately within mining and energy sector.
