May 2017: IPO raising £250 million – Singer Capital Markets acted as Financial Adviser and Joint Bookrunner on The PRS REIT’s admission in May 2017, raising £250 million with a market capitalisation of £264 million. Approximately 100 institutions met with the company via 77 meetings, with over 60 institutions investing. Homes England subscribed for 10% of the IPO (the first time a UK government agency has participated in an IPO).
February 2018: Placing raising £250 million – Singer Capital Markets acted as Joint Bookrunner on The PRS REIT’s Placing in February 2018, raising a further £250 million. Built a roadshow of over 60 institutions, introducing 28 new investors to the register.
March 2021: Premium Listing on the London Stock Exchange – Singer Capital Markets acted as Sponsor on the Company’s move from the Specialist Fund Segment to the Premium Segment of the Main Market. The transfer intended to broaden the share register and facilitate eligibility for inclusion in FTSE’s EPRA and UK Index Series.
September 2021: Placing raising £56 million – Singer Capital Markets acted as Joint Bookrunner on The PRS REIT’s Placing in September 2021, raising a further £56 million. We built a roadshow of over 70 institutions, introducing 10 new investors to the register.
About The PRS REIT
Through its Investment Adviser, Sigma PRS Management Ltd, The PRS REIT has visibility on the potential delivery of over 10,000 new homes through construction framework agreements in place with house building partners and strong relationships with local authorities.
The Company has reached a mature stage of the delivery programme, and anticipates delivering its 5,000th completed home by the end of 2022. It continues to target a portfolio of 5,700 homes with an ERV of £55m per annum. The PRS REIT was the first London-quoted REIT solely focused on developing new build family homes in the private rented sector.
