The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s 100 private tech (TMT) companies with the fastest-growing sales over their latest three years.
It is compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times each September, with an awards dinner in November, and alumni dinners during the year.
Fast Track, which organises Tech Track 100, is owned and run by Dr Hamish Stevenson who founded it in 1997 with support from Sir Richard Branson.
Over the past 20 years, Fast Track has created an alumni network of top-performing private companies and entrepreneurs. It has tracked the rise of many private growth companies such as chip designer ARM, Carphone Warehouse, Sophos, Just Eat and FreeAgent.
FreeAgent is a leading provider of cloud accounting software designed specifically for UK micro-businesses and freelancers. They started off with £8m in angel investment, debt financing and crowdfunding (2007-2015).
