Singer Capital Markets is pleased to have supported Veremark, the global workplace trust and pre-employment screening company, on the successful completion of its £6.5 million employee and early-investor secondary share sale through the London Stock Exchange’s Private Securities Market.
Singer Capital Markets acted as a Registered Auction Agent on the buy side alongside Crowdcube and Cavendish.
The transaction represents the third employee share sale completed through the London Stock Exchange’s Private Securities Market, which was established using the PISCES regulatory framework to enable secondary trading in shares of private companies, creating liquidity for private growth companies.
The transaction provided employees and early investors in Veremark with an opportunity to realise some of the value of their holdings while the company continues its next stage of growth.
Gresham House was the lead investor in the transaction, following its participation in Veremark’s $26 million Series B earlier in 2026.
For Singer Capital Markets, the transaction demonstrates the opportunity presented by PISCES as an emerging route for private growth companies seeking to create liquidity for existing shareholders and broaden access to private markets.
| Commenting on the appointments, James Moat, Co-Head of Investment Banking, said:
“We are delighted to have worked with Veremark on this transaction. PISCES represents an exciting development in the UK private markets, giving ambitious private companies another option when considering liquidity for employees and early shareholders.
Veremark is a great example of the type of high-growth UK business that can benefit from the development of this market, and we look forward to supporting more companies as PISCES evolves.”
Veremark’s Chief Executive and co-founder Daniel Callaghan described the transaction as a key moment for the company’s early employees and investors and said the company’s ambitions to scale remained strong. |

Supporting ambitious private companies
Singer Capital Markets is focused on supporting ambitious businesses throughout their growth journey and sees the development of PISCES as an important addition to the UK’s private capital markets.
The Veremark transaction also builds on Singer’s relationship with the business through its Sunday Times Tech 100 partnership, demonstrating how the firm’s relationships with high-growth private companies can develop into broader capital markets opportunities. Singer’s internal reporting records Veremark as a company first met through the Tech 100 partnership and subsequently appointed Singer as Registered Auction Agent.
