About

Nirvishi joins Singer Capital Markets as Chief Risk Officer, bringing over 25 years of experience across financial services, IT, and risk management.

Beginning her career at Shell before spending 18 years at Barclays — progressing from IT Engineer through to Risk Management — she went on to help build the risk culture and governance framework at Peel Hunt, where she also chaired the DE&I forum. She joins Singer Capital Markets driven by a genuine excitement to be part of the firm’s continued growth.

Holding a BEng and an MBA, alongside multiple professional risk certifications, Nirvishi is an active member of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) and GARP, and continues to pursue further qualifications.

Originally from Mauritius, Nirvishi has called the UK home for over a decade. An early riser and committed daily runner, she finds that movement is essential to her mental wellbeing — and with family spread across the globe, she is well practised at staying connected across time zones.
