Last week, six members from the Singer Capital Markets team went to Ronald McDonald Evelina House to cook a three course meal for the residents of the House, whose children are currently receiving treatment from Evelina London Children’s Hospital, part of Guy’s and St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

The House is a free ‘home away from home’ for the families of the children being treated at the Hospital. It has been developed with a significant contribution from Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, and Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Charity provided the land.

The House, which opened in December 2016, can accommodate around 975 families a year, and is located just a five minute walk to the Evelina London Children’s Hospital, helping families to be as close as possible to their child.

As our second time at the House, we were delighted to hear stories about the families who we cooked for last year, as well as talking to new families, and how much the House has helped to support them.
