Singer Capital Markets support IntoUniversity’s “Big City Bright Future” internship programme

At the end of July, Singer Capital Markets were involved in running an Investment Banking workshop for IntoUniversity’s “Big City Bright Future” internship programme.

The Big City Bright Future internship programme gives IntoUniversity students the opportunity to undertake a three-week paid internship within firms in various industries; such as financial services, investment banking, law, and marketing. Unfortunately, as a result of Covid-19, this year’s BCBF had to be taken online, but this didn’t stop IntoUniversity putting on a fantastic 3 weeks of workshops, seminars and networking opportunities for the students.

During week 3, Carlo Spingardi (Corporate Finance) and Alex Estefanous (Research) hosted an online workshop for 120 students on the ins and outs of Investment Banking, what Research is, and some of the key processes and skills needed to work within the Investment Banking industry.

Our Partnership with IntoUniversity

Since 2019, Singer Capital Markets have partnered with  IntoUniversity – a growing educational charity working to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The initiative was created to address the issue of children and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds, who are “nearly four times less likely to go to university than those in the most advantaged areas.” Over the last 15 years, the charity have helped over 100,000 children and young people access higher education, and intend to continue to do so by operating more centres and having more staff nationally.
