Singer Capital Markets support IntoUniversity’s “Big City Bright Future” Internship Programme
We were delighted to have four IntoUniversity students join us as part of the IntoUniversity ‘Big City Bright Future’ Internship Programme over the past two weeks.
‘Big City Bright Future’ is an internship programme which gives IntoUniversity students the opportunity to undertake a two-week paid internship with a number of IntoUniversity partner firms during the summer.
Our interns, Tawheed, Sharon, Elton and Leon worked across various different departments during their time at Singer Capital Markets including Trading, Research, Investment Banking, Finance and more where they were able to gain valuable experience and fantastic insights into the various business functions.
Commenting on their internships with Singer Capital Markets, Leon and Elton said:
Thank you to everyone at Singer Capital Markets, it was a great opportunity and I loved every minute! – Elton
I was free to explore the different functions of an investment bank that enable its role as a middleman between investors and companies’ ideas to grow! – Leon
We thoroughly enjoyed working with the interns and wish them well in their future career endeavours.
Our Partnership with IntoUniversity
Since 2019, Singer Capital Markets have partnered with IntoUniversity – a growing educational charity working to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The initiative was created to address the issue of children and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds, who are “nearly four times less likely to go to university than those in the most advantaged areas.” Over the last 15 years, the charity have helped over 100,000 children and young people access higher education, and intend to continue to do so by operating more centres and having more staff nationally.
