Singer Capital Markets are delighted to announce our appointment of two new senior hires across our Markets and Investment Banking divisions.

Gareth Henderson joins as Singer Capital Markets’s new Head of Market Making, having previously been at Winterfloods where he built a successful 21 year career. Gareth’s past experience will be invaluable as we continue to build on our already strong trading desk, where we are currently making markets in over 800 stocks.

As well as welcoming Gareth, we are also delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Pearce as the firm’s Head of Investment Banking. Steve has over 20 years’ city experience as a corporate finance adviser to UK listed plc’s. Steve was previously Co-Head of Investment Banking at Liberum, where he spent 12 years, having been one of the founding members of its corporate advisory business. Steve will continue to grow our Investment Banking business where we have dominated the small and mid-cap sector, having finished 2019 raising c.£900 million across 37 transactions – ranking Singer Capital Markets as one of the top two firms for total capital raised.
